Mr. Beck practices in all phases of intellectual property law, including intellectual property clearance and litigation counseling, as well as preparation and prosecution of patent, trademark, and copyright applications, with a technical emphasis in the electro-mechanical, mechanical, electrical, software and medical device arts. Prior to practicing with the firm, Mr. Beck was an attorney with a large Indianapolis general practice law firm. He also worked for nearly ten years as a Vibration and Designs Engineer for two aerospace companies.

Mr. Beck received his J.D. degree from Western State University (now known as Thomas Jefferson School of Law). He received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute (now known as The Kettering Institute) and an M.S. degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of the bar of the State of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Federal Circuit, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Beck is also a past Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
